Park Sun Break

Daily walk through the park so it gives beautiful figures. This is the first from a series figures and these paintings will painted so loosely as possible. Models enough in the neighborhood.

With this new photo (Miniature, White Pumpkins) challenge I have to handle the brush more loose. I have made the choice to paint this time Karin's challenge photograph in museum art scene.

Street Art News

News paper street art painting. The stone wall background is an amusing change. Especially I named the news paper DSDF, with the dog Jack of Karin Jurick on the front page as a thanks for all her good work, her blog painting challenges each week are fabulous.

Canal house

Amsterdam canal house painting. These fifteenth and sixteenth century houses are in the center of city Amsterdam. Recently says someone that it looks like film set houses Rembrandt the movie, but its not. As an alternative, I painted diagonal with little details.

Amsterdamse grachten panden schilderij. Deze vijftiende en zestiende eeuwse huizen staan in het centrum van de stad Amsterdam. Laatst zij iemand dat het op een filmdecor lijkt van Rembrandt , maar dat is het niet. Als alternatief heb ik deze panden diagonaal geschilderd met weinig detail.

Beach house

Rehoboth Beach house, Delaware, United States. The second photograph challenge from Karin's DSDF. The painting of Rehoboth Beachscape is now hanging in the originale Louvre interior :) The alternation with the color of the underlying wall looks nice.

Quartet

Juicy chubby little pears painting, quartet pears from the local city market. Very good for a four days painters breakfast! So I have then anothor three days bacon, eggs and beans, I love the last three days in the week! :)

Sappige kleine peren van de plaatselijke markt. Goed voor vier dagen schilders ontbijt! Zo dan heb ik in ieder geval nog drie dagen over voor bacon, eieren en witte bonen, wat hou ik toch van die laatste drie dagen in de week! :)

Flipping out!

The pepper top heavy? I have knocked over the glass! Before the pepper was absorbed in the spagetti sauce, I painted him quickly because the sparkling in the shadow and the reflexes on the chromium came nice together.

Was de peper te zwaar? Nee, ik tikte het glas om! Voordat de peper in de spagetti saus ging moest ik hem snel even schilderen omdat het licht en de reflex in het chroom op dat moment goed samen kwamen.

Jake's Famous Crawfish

The free painting winner this month 'Jakes World Famous Crawfish House' de owner of this email photograph can claim the painting. Congratulated Maureen!

Jake's Famous Crawfish has been a downtown Portland (Oregon) landmark for more than 116 years. Outside in the street are steel rings used for tying up horses. Inside is a very colorful place. It has beautiful tasteful paintings of naked women above the bar and stories galore!

De winnaar van het gratis schilderij deze maand is 'Jakes Famous Crawfish house' de eigenaar van de ingezonden foto kan het schilderij op eisen. Dit gebouw staat al meer dan 116 jaar in de beneden stad van Portland (Oregon). Buiten op de stoep zitten nog stalen ringen waar vroeger de paarden aan vast werden gezet. Binnen is het een kleurig geheel en boven de bar hangen naakt schilderijen met daar bij de mooie verhalen van al die jaren.

Hot stuff

The third painting in the series glass (shaker) with vegetable, fruit. To get that yellow pepper in the right position is the most work in the composition and then I have temporarily seen enough pepper! : ) The last from this series comes middle of this week.

Dit schilderij is de derde uit de serie glas, groente en fruit. De gele peper was het moeilijkste in de juiste compositie te krijgen. Zo en nu heb ik zo langzaam aan genoeg peper gezien! ; ) De laatste uit deze serie komt midden van de week.

Hot Pepper

The second painting in the series glass (shaker) with vegetable, fruit. It is a challenge with that composition vertical hot red thing, and the red of the hot pepper is perhaps too dominantly but in combination with the cold glass a beautiful balance.


Het tweede schilderij uit de serie glas met groente, fruit. Het is wel een uitdaging om dat monster van een rode peper goed in de compositie te krijgen. De rode kleur van de peper is misschien te dominant maar in combinatie met het koude glas toch in balans.

I have made in my study only still lifes this week, because the rain in Holland I cannot paint outside (sorry). And I was too busy with murals. This is the first from a series of four with pepper and salt glass barrels(shaker) with vegetable and fruit.


Heb deze week alleen in mijn werkkamer stillevens kunnen schilderen omdat het te regenachtig was Sorry). En moest een aantal muur schilderingen maken en had hier door te kort aan tijd. Dit is de eerste uit een serie van drie zout en peper glas met groente en fruit

Black Horse

Extra information, the last two paintings are only been painted with use from two colors red and yellow and two tints white and black as also the paintings made with only a 0.5 inch brush.
The horse comes from the same spot as the previous horses, yep he is black with a red glow.

I hope that I can paint now cows in the new series. Yes, the same horse spot only I let the two students at home ;)

Ter informatie, voor de laatste twee schilderijen is alleen gebruik gemaakt van de kleuren geel en rood en met de tinten zwart en wit..en een kwast maat 8.
Dit paard komt wederom uit de zelfde omgeving en probeer nu een serie koeien te schilderen maar ik laat wel die twee herry makers thuis :)

Dutch Horse (part two)

Dutch horse painting is finished!

As you see, this horse has not many sense (he stumbles ahead) so I paint him fast for the basis. And finish it in my study tomorrow. He comes from the same spot as the previous horses.

Zoals jullie kunnen zien heeft dit paard niet veel zin vandaag en strompelt vooruit, hierdoor kon ik nog snel een basis maken om morgen af te werken in mijn werk ruimte. Dit paard komt van de zelfde omgeving als de voorgaande paarden.
