Edible Red

Painting Apples/fruits and glass is amusing work, also playing with color contrasts. Past month I painted several small fruit works and you will see the best from this series in next weeks.

Het schilderen van appels en glas blijf mijn favoriet, zo ook het spelen met de contrast kleuren. Af gelopen maand heb ik er meerdere van deze kleine werkjes geschilderd en zal ze hier tonen aan komende weken.

Rhythm

Everyday its a challange to paint these small paintings! It is also the placing of materials, say composition, has the most priority on these little stuff! But the porcelain - glass combination is always good with fruit what that concerned is it not quite difficult.

Elke dag is het weer een uitdaging om deze kleine werkjes te maken. De plaatsing van de materialen hebben de hoogste prioriteit. Maar het porselein doet het altijd goed in de combinatie met fruit wat dat betreft is de keuze niet zo heel moeilijk.

Hey lonely Clementine!

A peeled Clementine or Tangerines you name it, was the task to sketch/paint. But I think the composition worked a little more if the Clementine is not peeled and gives a beautiful combination with a glass jar!

Een gepelde mandarijn was de opdracht om te schetsen of te schilderen. Maar ik denk in compositie opzicht is het mooier om de mandarijn in zijn geheel te schilderen, als extra dementie daarbij gebruik gemaakt van een glazen schaal!

You are Beautiful!

Mushrooms in a glass jar, they are from the local market. It is amusing to paint vegetables before it is on your diner plate!

Paddestoelen in een glazen pot, ze zijn van de plaatselijke markt. Het is leuk om de groenten te schilderen voordat ze op je avondeten bord liggen!

Get Up

Mushrooms are nice to paint in faceted style. I have tried different color combinations but this was the best combination! The next small painting mushrooms are in a glass jar.

Champions zijn mooi te schilderen in een facetten stijl. Heb veschillende kleuren combonatie's geprobeerd maar dit was de beste. Het volgende kleine tafereel zijn champions in een glazen pot.

Bold in Gold!

Golden Delicious painting. In the beginning, I named this painting edible green. The name has been changed because a artist says to me on wetcanvas, these are my favorite apples: "Golden Delicious" totally bold in gold!

Red Apples

Red apples painting. Yep, I have not mailed last two weeks, Sorry! This painting is the first in the study series I have made in these two weeks the rest comes to you on this next post. My intention on these small paintings was only light, shadow and color.

Rode appels schilderij. Ja, ik heb de laatste twee weken niet gepost, sorry! Dit schilderijtje is de eerste in de serie studies die zijn gemaakt de laatste twee weken de rest volgd. Het enige doel dat was gesteld aan deze werkjes was ligt schaduw en kleur stelling.

Varition on the vase paintings. Because we go in the direction of Christmas I have added a Christmas ball (Bauble). Mostly complex was the reflexies in the vase.

Variatie in de vaas schilderijen, omdat we richting kerstdagen gaan heb ik een kerstbal toegevoegd. Het meest moeilijke was de juiste reflexie in de vaas.

This old vase gives me many ideas to paint still lifes. Therefore I will make a few paintings more with that vase on it. The apples comes from the local city market.

Deze oude vaas heeft mij een hoop ideeen gegeven om stillevens te schilderen, daarom schilder ik er nog een paar met de vaas als middelpunt. De appels komen van de plaatselijke stadsmarkt.

Old Vase

Flowers and fruit still life. I have thinking a long time what kind of flowers fit in this old vase, I decided roses with on the foreground apples in a blue scale. Remarks over the reds in the background, you think its a too fiercely color?

Bloemen en fruit stilleven. Heb er lang over na gedacht wat voor bloemen in de oude vaas te zetten en heb besloten dat het rozen moesten worden met op de voorgrond appels in een blauwe schaal. Heb wel opmerkingen gehad over de felle rode kleur in de achtergrond, vinden jullie het te fel van kleur?

Quartet

Juicy chubby little pears painting, quartet pears from the local city market. Very good for a four days painters breakfast! So I have then anothor three days bacon, eggs and beans, I love the last three days in the week! :)

Sappige kleine peren van de plaatselijke markt. Goed voor vier dagen schilders ontbijt! Zo dan heb ik in ieder geval nog drie dagen over voor bacon, eieren en witte bonen, wat hou ik toch van die laatste drie dagen in de week! :)
