Sketching plein air in ink the Sint Nicolaaskerk to day and painted in my studio. (Church of St. Nicholas) is a Roman Catholic church in the centre of Amsterdam. Thanks to Bill Guffey for the paint out challange!

Sunny day

Another beautiful sunny summer day in a weekend to paint outside. Also am very privileged that my fixed models regularly take the time to pose for my painting easel.

Beach Girl

Beach girl painting from the neighborhood. It is always beautifully the sheens of the suns radiate to play with the sea water. Also it is a joy for painters to may look and paint the people(figures) at the beach.

Het strand meisje schilderij uit de omgeving. Het is altijd prachtig om de schitteringen van het zon licht met het water te zien spelen. En het is natuurlijk ook een lust voor het schilders oog om deze mensen en figuren op het strand te mogen schilderen.

Daily walk through the park so it gives beautiful figures. This is the first from a series figures and these paintings will painted so loosely as possible. Models enough in the neighborhood.

Canal house

Amsterdam canal house painting. These fifteenth and sixteenth century houses are in the center of city Amsterdam. Recently says someone that it looks like film set houses Rembrandt the movie, but its not. As an alternative, I painted diagonal with little details.

Amsterdamse grachten panden schilderij. Deze vijftiende en zestiende eeuwse huizen staan in het centrum van de stad Amsterdam. Laatst zij iemand dat het op een filmdecor lijkt van Rembrandt , maar dat is het niet. Als alternatief heb ik deze panden diagonaal geschilderd met weinig detail.

Black Horse

Extra information, the last two paintings are only been painted with use from two colors red and yellow and two tints white and black as also the paintings made with only a 0.5 inch brush.
The horse comes from the same spot as the previous horses, yep he is black with a red glow.

I hope that I can paint now cows in the new series. Yes, the same horse spot only I let the two students at home ;)

Ter informatie, voor de laatste twee schilderijen is alleen gebruik gemaakt van de kleuren geel en rood en met de tinten zwart en wit..en een kwast maat 8.
Dit paard komt wederom uit de zelfde omgeving en probeer nu een serie koeien te schilderen maar ik laat wel die twee herry makers thuis :)

Dutch Horse (part two)

Dutch horse painting is finished!

As you see, this horse has not many sense (he stumbles ahead) so I paint him fast for the basis. And finish it in my study tomorrow. He comes from the same spot as the previous horses.

Zoals jullie kunnen zien heeft dit paard niet veel zin vandaag en strompelt vooruit, hierdoor kon ik nog snel een basis maken om morgen af te werken in mijn werk ruimte. Dit paard komt van de zelfde omgeving als de voorgaande paarden.

Dutch country horse

Yep, the painters mess is cleared. I have selected a bad day for a outside painting, go outside to paint and pack my bag and bicycle. You already guess, rain, dry - rain, dry, the whole day and no umbrella. Dutch rain drops in this painting. Haha. This location is outside the city at the border of Nijmegen, there are beautiful horses and cows. This painting become a series of three horse pieces, after this horse series there come more people paintings!

Ja, de schilders rotzooi is opgeruimt. Ik heb een slechte dag uitgekozen om buiten te schilderen, ik pak mijn tas en fiets. Jullie raden het al, regen, droog - regen, droog de gehele dag en geen parapleu in de buurt. Echte Hollandse regen druppels in dit schilderij. Haha. De lokatie is buiten de stad aan de rand van Nijmegen, er zijn hier prachtige paarden en koeien aanwezig. Van deze paarden komt een serie van drie schilderijen, na deze paarden serie komen er weer portretten van mensen die hun dagelijkse dingen doen.



The Dutch country horse painting is finished. Extra detail is, this work is made from the edge of the woods you must follow a very difficult way until the horse meadow gap in the woods.

The blue bag

From now on you see daily the basis painting after it you will see the end result. Sorry for the mess on the background. I have should it to do before (basis and end result), better late then never. Haha. This painting start made in the same Churchgas street (Nijmegen), only this lady walks through the Burcht street in the direction of Walloon river bridge. That bicycle was my verify point.

Vanaf nu kun je dagelijks de basis van het schilderij zien en hierna het eind resultaat. Sorry voor de rotzooi op de achtergrond. Ik had het eerder moeten doen, maarja beter laat dan nooit. Dit basis schilderij is gemaakt vanuit de het Kerkegas steegje (Nijmegen), alleen deze dame loopt via de Burchtstraat richting de Waalbrug. Die fiets was mijn uitgangspunt.




The blue adidas bag painting is now finished, have let the basis pensil strokes in the figure.

De blauwe adidas tas schilderij is nu gereed, heb de basis penseel strepen niet weg geschilderd in het figuur.

Walking city girls

These ladies walking through the Burcht street direction Large market (weighing house square). The painting has been made from the Churchgas street. Because many people outside the city come along this citystreet. Beautiful spot to portray walking people. The red decoration behind that store glass was my verify point.

Deze dames wandelen via de Burchtstraat naar de Grote markt (Waag gebouw plein). Het schilderij is gemaakt vanuit het kerkegas steegje omdat daar veel mensen van buiten de stad langs lopen. Prachtige plek om voorbij komende mensen te portretteren. De rode decoratie achter het winkelglas was mijn uitgangs punt.

Dog walk

Morning walker painting. Walking with your dog is always nice to do over the Walloon river bank. Only when you after it walk a route of 40 km in the four daily week (largest walk event in the world), it is really too heavy for me.

Ochtend wandelaar schilderij. Een wandeling maken met je hond is altijd goed om te doen en zeker over de Waalkade. Alleen als je erna nog eens 40 km moet lopen in de vierdaagse (grootste wandel evenement ter wereld) zou echt te zwaar zijn voor mij.

Yellow shoes

The yellow ladies shoes painting. On the way to the arrival of the four daily walkers. Walking these ladies from downtown to the Saint Annastreet. For this day renamed as the Gladiola. That red stone wall works as a bull on a red cloth. Also I like the name short skirts day for the painting, perhaps the next time.

Het gele dames schoenen schilderij. Op weg naar de binnen komst van de vierdaagse lopers lopen deze dames van de binnenstad richting Sint Annastraat, speciaal voor de aankomst omgedoopt tot Gladiola. Die rood stenen muur werkt als een stier op een rode lap. Had het schilderij korte rokjes dag kunnen noemen maar die naam bewaar ik tot de volgende keer.

The Bass Guitar Artist

Bass guitar artist painting. The four daily walk week is started in Nijmegen(Holland). Celebration on the squares in Nijmegen and this music artists stand on the kings square past Tuesday. The bassist is a member of the Dutch music group You&Me(you-me.nl). Now I go to the next square to portray artist and walkers.

Bassist portret schilderij. De vierdaagse week is weer van start gegaan in Nijmegen. Op de grote pleinen in Nijmegen is het feest en er spelen tot laat in de avond muziek bands zo ook op het Koningsplein. Deze bassist is een lid van de muziek groep You&Me, zie ook website you-me.nl Nu ben ik weer op weg naar het volgende plein om muziekanten en wandelaars op het schilders doek te krijgen.

The sand container

Hessenberg localview painting. On this spot in Nijmegen stood previously a monastery chapel in 1420 middle ages. It lies now isolated between the Kronenburgpark and the Long Hezelstreet. On this spot comes 180 apartments and this construction worker works twelve meters deeply at the start of the foundation in the burning sun with thirty degrees.

Hessenberg binnen stad schilderij. Op deze plek in Nijmegen stond vroeger een kloosterkapel in 1420 late middeleeuwen. Het ligt nu geisoleerd tussen het Kronenburgpark en de Lange Hezelstraat. Op deze plek komen 180 appartementen. Deze hard werkende bouwvakker werkt twaalf meters diep in de bouwput aan de start van de fundering in de brandende zon met dertig graden.

She (family member) is come daily past my door when she go to school. A little bit dreaming model at the table on that age is not bad. Ashley is honored be a painter model and to be taken in the family portraits collection.

Ze komt dagelijks voorbij als ze naar school gaat en wilde haar een dromerige uitstraling geven met haar leeftijd. Ze is zeer vereerd om een schilders model te zijn en in de gallerij van familie portretten te worden opgenomen.
